- 1 turkey
Mix your favorite chicken dressing/stuffing, and stuff the bird.
- 1/2 c. margarine, melted
- seasoned meat tenderizer or your favorite seasoning
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 6-8 wild onions, depending on size (Use all of it!)
Brush melted margarine over the turkey; sprinkle really good with seasoning, salt and pepper. Place wild onions on the turkey, some on top and some on the bottom. Put in roaster and cover. Bake at 400° for a few hours.
Be sure to have your turkey in the oven by the time the chickens get off their roost. This will give it time to be good and tender, plus have the aroma fill the kitchen and everyone will have a great appetite! Watch the crowd gather!
