Zesty Shrimp

  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 c. barbecue sauce
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
  • dash of hot sauce, optional

Preparation:

Blend the barbecue sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, dill and salt. Marinate shrimp in this sauce for 6 hours or overnight. Grill shrimp over hot coals until done, 3 or 4 minutes on each side. To the remaining marinade, add horseradish and hot sauce, if desired. Use as a shrimp dip. Serves 4 people.
