Trash Can Supper

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 5 lb. potatoes, small or cut in half
  • 20 ears corn on the corn, cut in half
  • 3-4 lb. sausage, cut in 2" pieces
  • season salt, salt and pepper to desired amount

Preparation:

Fill a tin trash can with 3"-4" water. Layer ingredients in order listed. Takes approximately 2 hours on a open fire or hot coals. Do not open more than needed. Easy for camping. Yield: 20 servings.
