Chocolate Biscotti
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. baking soda
- 1 tsp. powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation:
Blend sugar and butter. Add eggs and extract and mix well. Add last four ingredients and mix well. On a greased cookie sheet, shape into two 3x12 inch loaves. Wet hands with water to shape loaves, as dough will be sticky. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Cut into 1 inch slices. Flip on side and bake 9 minutes. Remove from oven and flip on other side and bake 9 minutes. Cool Completely. Drizzle with white chocolate.
