Apple Sticky Buns
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. yeast
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. chopped apples
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1 Tbsp. water
Preparation:
Put first 2 ingredients in a large bowl. Heat next 5 ingredients together until warm. Add to flour mixture. Add next 3 ingredients and let rise 30 minutes. While dough is rising, combine next 6 ingredients and heat until melted. Pour into 9x13 pan. Drop dough by tablespoon onto syrup. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes. Cool 1 minute and invert on cookie sheet. Quick and delicious. Best when warm.
