The Perfect Hamburger

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. chili sauce
  • 1 tsp. dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp. prepared horseradish
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 4 hamburger buns, split
    Optional Toppings:
  • sliced tomato
  • onions
  • pickles
  • cheese
  • condiments

Preparation:

In a large bowl, combine first 7 ingredients. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 4 - 3/4" thick patties. Grill, uncovered over medium-hot heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until juices run clear. Serve on buns with desired toppings. Yield: 4 servings.
