Lasagna

  • Meat Sauce:
  • 1-1/2 lbs - ground beef
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 - garlic clove, crushed
  • 8 oz - gluten-free tomato sauce
  • 6 oz - gluten-free tomato paste
  • 1 cup - water
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - oregano
  • 3/4 tsp - basil
  • 1/2 tsp - marjoram
  • 2 cups - cottage cheese
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/3 cup - Parmesan cheese
  • shredded cheese
  • gluten-free lasagna noodles, cooked

Preparation:

For the meat sauce, brown ground beef, onion, and garlic. Add remaining 7 ingredients for meat sauce and simmer for 15 minutes. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, egg, and Parmesan cheese. In a 9x13" baking pan, layer in this order: 1) noodles, 2) meat sauce, 3)noodles, 4) cottage cheese mixture, 5) noodles, 6) meat sauce, 7) shredded cheese. Bake at 350° for 20-30 minutes. 4-6 servings.
