Strawberry Tiramisu Trifle

  • 1 qt. fresh strawberries
  • 1 1/4 c. cold milk
  • 1 (3.4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 c. strong brewed coffee, room temperature, divided
  • 2 c. whipping topping
  • 1 (3.oz.) pkg. Ladyfingers, split
  • 6 (1 oz.) squares chocolate, grated


Set aside 6 strawberries for garnish; slice the remaining strawberries. In a bowl, whisk the milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft set. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually beat in 2 Tbsp. coffee. Beat in pudding. Fold in whipped topping. Brush the Ladyfingers with remaining coffee. Line the bottom of a glass serving bowl with 1/2 of the Ladyfingers. Top with 1/2 of sliced berries, grated chocolate and pudding mixture; repeat layers. Cut reserved berries in 1/2; place on trifle. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Yield: 12 servings.
