Lemon Chiffon Pudding

  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 egg whites, beaten stiff


Cream together flour, sugar and butter. Add egg yolks, lemon juice, milk and salt. Fold in egg whites. Bake in an 8" casserole dish or individual custard cups set in a pan of water. Bake 35 minutes at 375°. It will form a cake top with a layer of custard below.
