Fresh Peach Cobbler

  • 6-8 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. clear jel
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, separated

Preparation:

Combine and pour into a 9x13 inch greased pan. Set aside. Combine all except egg whites. Whip whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into batter. Spread over peaches. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
