Cherry Tarts

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 2/3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups Cool Whip
  • cherry pie filling, or any flavor pie filling


Cream butter, cream cheese and egg yolk. Add flour and baking powder. Press into muffin pans. (Greased or paper-lined muffin pans) Bake at 350° until golden. Cool. Filling: Cream cream cheese; add sugar. Beat well and add Cool Whip. Put filling on crust; top with cherry pie filling.
