Celery Cheese Swirls

  • 1 bunch celery
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded American cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste


Separate celery into stalks; trim, and wash. Combine cream cheese and American cheese; blend until smooth. Add milk, onion, garlic, salt and pepper; mix until well blended. Spread cream cheese mixture on each celery stalk. Press 3 stalks together, and secure with rubber bands. Chill for 1 hour. Cut into 1/2-1 inch slices. Yield: about 3 dozen slices.
