Bacon Suet

  • 1/4 c. bacon grease (lard)
  • 2 c. crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 c. cornmeal
  • 1 c. sunflowers
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 c. fruit, berry and nut bird seed
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oatmeal


Heat the grease in a skillet and peanut butter. Stir well until melted. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Make into balls and freeze. Store in freezer and use as needed. Put the suet balls outside for the birds to enjoy.
