Apple Danish Cheesecake

  • Crust:
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
    Filling:
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 egg
    Topping:
  • 4 c. apples, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation:

Mix crust ingredients and press into 9"x9" cake pan. Beat filling together and pour onto crust. Mix apples with sugar, flour, and cinnamon and place on top of filling. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes. Serves 8 people.
